Our team focuses on making our residents feel at home in complexes that exceed their expectations. We provide tastefully renovated apartments & townhomes at what we believe is a great value. Our leasing process is seamless & it is also very easy to pay rent and submit maintenance requests online. Our friendly staff is available to answer any questions & provide great service.
Melissa Walton has been a cornerstone of Highland Ridge and Jersey Ridge for nearly two decades. She joined Highland Ridge in 2006 and brings more than 30 years of property management experience to our communities. Beginning her career in 1989 and stepping into a management role in 1992, Melissa has developed a deep understanding of resident relations, operations, and the day‑to‑day needs of multifamily housing.
Known for her calm, matter‑of‑fact approach, Melissa is the person residents and staff rely on when they need clear answers, steady leadership, and genuine care. She oversees leasing, applications, resident communication, and community standards across both properties, ensuring that every interaction is handled with professionalism and consistency.

Is the office and maintenance staff on site?
Yes. The rental office and maintenance team have on site hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and every first and third Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After hours emergency maintenance is also available.
What is the application fee?
The application fee is $50 per applicant. Anyone 18 years of age or older must complete an application.
What is the security deposit?
Security deposits begin at $700 and require a minimum credit score of 600.
What are the income requirements?
Applicants must have a verifiable income of approximately three times the monthly rent.
What do you review during the application process?
We review credit history, background, rental history, and verify income.
What lease terms do you offer?
We offer 6 month and 12 month lease options. A 6 month lease includes a $60 monthly upcharge.
Do you allow pets?
Yes. One pet is permitted per apartment. At Highland Ridge, the pet must be under 14 inches. At Jersey Ridge, there is no height limit.
What are the pet fees?
There is a $25 monthly pet fee and a one time, non refundable pet fee of $200.
What apartment sizes are available?
We offer one bedroom and two bedroom apartments.
How do I pay rent?
Rent is paid online through our resident portal.
How do I submit maintenance requests?
Maintenance requests can be submitted at any time through our online resident portal. Emergency maintenance is available after hours.
What appliances are included?
Each apartment includes a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Some units also have a garbage disposal.
Are there laundry hookups in the apartments?
Laundry hook ups are available at Jersey Ridge. Laundry facilities are available at Highland Ridge. Facilities are located on the first floor of every building.
Where are the mailboxes located?
Mailboxes are located inside the building on either the first or second floor.
Is there more than one entry or exit to the building?
Yes. Every building has entry and exit doors on both the first and second floors.
What utilities are included, and what am I responsible for?
Monthly charges include water, sewage, and trash pickup. Residents are responsible for their own electric service and cable/internet
